in 1973 as an animal sanctuary for the rapidly
declining species of rhino and tiger, and
today offers one of the finest wildlife
experiences in Asia with Jungle Safari in
Nepal. The Park now contains an estimated
400 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, 80 Royal
Bengal tigers, plus another 50 species of
mammals and 400 different types of bird. |
